Shipping Policy

At Post Apple, we use many different shipping methods and carriers to make sure that your products arrive in a timely and safe manner. Due to the diversity of shipping requirements for some of the products we distribute as well as these complex shipping methods, your total shipping costs may or may not be calculated Check Out.

In the case of shipping NOT being calculated at Check-Out, you will receive an additional invoice to cover these costs once a Post Apple employee has reviewed your order and made the appropriate shipping adjustments for your Hazard or Freight products. Post Apple ships chemicals, laboratory supplies to all 50 states in the USA.

Chemicals

Additional Shipping & Delivery Charges

Hazardous Materials (Hazmat)

Some chemicals are classified as “Hazardous Materials,” (Hazmat) which require special shipping by our common carrier UPS. By law, hazmat fees will be added to your order for all hazardous chemicals and related laboratory products. Hazmat fees from UPS are $40.00. Hazmat chemicals and related laboratory products can only be shipped via Ground and not Air (2nd day, Overnight, etc.).

Poison Packs

Some chemicals require poison pack designation. By law, poison pack chemicals require special packaging before they are shipped by our common carrier. Poison pack fees are $25.00. Poison pack chemicals can only be shipped via Ground and not Air (2nd day, Overnight, etc.).

Freight Shipping Charges

Some products require Freight delivery for shipping. If your order requires freight shipping, we will charge you the actual freight charges. Chemicals are typically shipped and transported in the U.S. by UPS, FedEx, LTL, and FTL (TL).

Some products can ONLY go by truck freight. This is due to their hazardous nature and UPS will not handle them.
